Web Site Refresh
It’s been long overdue, but we’re finally updating our web site! (There are some lessons lurking about trying to manage a web presence while also growing a very needy manufacturing business, but I’ll save those for another time!) Because Sun Cups have become so much of our business, and because they’re a very separate brand with a growing audience, we’ve decided to give Sun Cups some more visibility. You’ll notice there are two entry points to the site now:
- sethellischocolatier.com will take you to a page with all of our news and posts; for truffles, Sun Cups, our chocolate bars and stuff about our shop and people.
- suncups.com is the quick way to get to the Sun Cups slice of our info: news, ingredients, stores, peeks into how we make Sun Cups, and other Sun Cupish things we invent.
Neil has been in overdrive creating graphics for both faces of our business, and the results are beautiful. (And any formatting and layout weirdness is all mine, as I try to wrap his great graphics around the site structure!) Kudos also to the folks at crowdfavorite.com, who have taken their Carrington Business WordPress theme and customized it for us so we can manage our two strong brands from one dashboard.
Stay tuned as we figure out how to use the tools, and hopefully you’ll see more of us online, as I’m trying to spend more time writing and less time fixing chocolate machinery!
